Nikolina looks like any other 10 year old. 

Dressed in the international uniform of sportswear, she rests her head in her chin and smiles, a faint dimple appearing in her right  cheek. But this young girl has experienced far more in her short life than most adults. Together with her seven-month pregnant mum, Iryna, she fled her war-torn homeland of Ukraine across the border to Romania. It was a painful choice which meant leaving behind relatives in Kyiv but one Iryna made for the sake of her children’s futures.
