I'm a writer and editor, specialising in photography, with over a decade’s experience working with digital and print.

Since 2018, I’ve been Contributing Editor at the Royal Photographic Society Journal, I oversee the 'In Focus' section of the SPA award-winning print magazine, which covers news, exhibitions, books and other short image-led features. I am a regular contributor to Aesthetica, writing digital features and long-form print pieces. Other current clients include British Journal of Photography, Hoxton Mini Press, Canon Europe and At Collective.

A big supporter of new talent, I’ve mentored young photographers and writers through talks, workshops and portfolio reviews for The Photographers’ Gallery,  The Barbican, Photoworks, Photofusion and IdeasTap, among others. I hold a part-time position at University of the Arts London working on UAL Showcase, curating and creating content to spotlight the work of UAL students and graduate work, from fine art to fashion, design and architecture.

I moved from London to Birmingham in 2019, although I maintain strong ties with the capital. Wherever I’ve lived, I’ve been engaged in my local community. In 2023, I managed The Mosaic Road, a collaborative art project run by The Old Print Works in Balsall Heath, and co-organised the Kings Heath programme for Growing Up Green, a family arts festival celebrating climate action. I’m a member of Better Streets for Birmingham, a voluntary group campaigning for safer streets across the city.
