I'm a writer and editor, specialising in photography, with experience in digital and print.
Since 2018, I’ve been Contributing Editor at the Royal Photographic Society Journal, I oversee the 'In Focus' section of the SPA award-winning print magazine, which covers news, exhibitions, books and short features. I am a regular contributor to Aesthetica, writing digital features and long-form print pieces. Other current clients include British Journal of Photography, Hoxton Mini Press, Canon Europe and At Collective.
A big supporter of new talent, I’ve mentored young photographers and writers through talks, workshops and portfolio reviews for The Photographers’ Gallery, The Barbican, Photoworks and Photofusion, among others. I hold a part-time position at University of the Arts London leading on curated collections for UAL Showcase.
I moved from London to Birmingham in 2019, although I maintain strong ties with the capital. Wherever I’ve lived, I’ve been engaged in my local community. In 2023, I managed The Mosaic Road, a collaborative art project run by The Old Print Works in Balsall Heath, and co-organised the Kings Heath programme for Growing Up Green, a family arts festival celebrating climate action. I’m a member of Better Streets for Birmingham, campaigning for safer streets across the city.
