I'm a London-based freelance journalist. I mainly write about photography but I've covered everything from books to ballet, as well as creative careers, parenting and feminism.

Past and current clients include VICE, The Telegraph, Time Out, Sotheby's Institute of Art, The Barbican, Canon Professional Network, The British Journal of Photography, Hoxton Mini Press, Magnum Photos, Refinery 29 UK. As a Contributing Editor for the Royal Photographic Society Journal, I oversee the Books and 'In Focus' section of the magazine, which covers news, exhibitions, and other short image-led features and interviews.

I am the author of Unseen London, and wrote introductions for East London Photo Stories, Samuel Zeller's Botanical, Johanna Neurath's Columbia Road, all published by Hoxton Mini Press, and Peter Marlow's Breaking New Ground, published by Magnum Photos.

I've done workshops, talks and mentoring for young people through educational programmes run by The Photographers' Gallery, The Barbican, Photoworks and Jerwood Visual Arts, Photofusion, Encounters Film Festival, IdeasTap, Future First and Envision.
